Riverland & Mallee Citizen of the Year Awards winners announced

The Winners of the 2016 Riverland and Mallee Citizen of the Year Awards were announced at a gala dinner at the Berri Hotel, on Friday 25th August.

Presented by Radio 5RM and the Riverland Rotary Clubs, several hundred people came together to celebrate the community commitment of the 16 remarkable people and events that were finalists in this year’s awards.

The judging panel all agreed that deciding the winners this year was an extremely difficult task, and the following winners were selected:
