BR    Published: Sunday, 8 October 2017

The Rotary Club of Berri is pleased to announce that applications for the Riverland and Mallee Vocational Awards for 2017 are now open.

The Riverland and Mallee Vocational Awards started in 1982 and are run each year by the Rotary Club of Berri.

The aim of the Awards is to acknowledge and reward individuals that have excelled in their apprenticeship or traineeship. They have the opportunity to be recognised for their potential, enhance their profile and build their career.

Eligibility requirements for the Riverland & Mallee Vocational Awards are as follows:

Apprentice of the Year must be in their third or final year during 2017.

Trainee of the Year must have completed 6 months of their traineeship at the time of application.

Awards Co-ordinator Bruce Richardson of the Rotary Club of Berri said the Awards have become a Riverland Institution and it is important for our young achievers to be recognised. We look forward to this event with the anticipation that businesses from the region will submit nominations, to recognise the achievements of their apprentices and trainees.

The Awards Presentation Dinner will be held at the Berri Resort Hotel on Friday, 9th February 2018.

Application Forms are available by selecting the form as follows:

              Apprentice and Trainee form
School based Apprentice and Trainee form
