The 2014 5RM and Rotary Citizen of the Year Awards are celebrated this
week, with incredible finalists nominated for each category.
John Rix of the Berri Rotary Club will host the 2014 event this
Friday night at The Berri Resort Hotel and it's expected to be another
exciting night for all involved.
Following on from last year's awards and the success of additional
categories, Friday's awards will again acknowledge the Citizen of the
Year, the Young Person of the Year and the Event of the Year.
The finalists for the prestigious Citizen Award are Jan Centofanti,
Pat West, Brian Chapple, Malcolm and Lorna Rogers, Brian Hawley, Zachary
Caudo, Diane Tillett, Gail Campaign and barry Sullivan.
The four inspiring young finalists up for the Young Person of the
Year are Lisa Cmrlec, Mehmet Kavlakoglu, Meg Gillespie and Marissa
Redden.
This year there is another highly contested Events category between
the Loxton Show, Bruno Bay Fireworks Spectacular, Waikerie Primary
Centenary, Relay For Life and the Loxton Christmas Lights festival.
